We went for a walk on campus to gather tiny rocks, small leaves, pieces of fallen bark, dried moss, and lichen to add to the "bear caves" we are making in STEAM.
We used water colors to create beautiful turkey feathers.
We gathered in the dining hall with our Reading Buddies for our annual Reading Buddies Mini Thanksgiving Feast. The food was delicious and very very filling!

This week in PreK we went hunting for items to add to our "Scare Bear" containers. We discovered that it was best not to fill the containers all the way up if we want to make a loud noise to scare off bears. We also figured out that pebbles and acorns make a louder sound in the container than mulch.
In STEAM class we started to make our own bear caves. First we painted boxes brown. Next, we will gather natural materials outside to add our caves.
Mrs. Lariviere helped us share bear facts with each other.
