PreK Press
June 2019
Just a few last minute tidbits:
- Thank you to all who were able to join us for our PreK Concert earlier this week. We hope you
thoroughly enjoyed it and were as proud of the children as we were!
2) This Friday the PreKers will be treated to a concert and sing-along with Rob Nelson - a parent of
2 students here at TCS. It is sure to be a fun event so please be sure to ask your child about it!
3) The Country School is looking for a few parents to help at the Reading Buddy Lunch next Monday
(set up, serve food, and clean up). Here is the link for those who are able to help out. Thank You!
4) The menu for the upcoming TCS Reading Buddy lunch consists of pizza, grilled cheese slices, and
wraps with vegan and gluten free offerings. Ice Pops will be served for dessert. We ask that all
students bring in refillable water bottles as they will need them for both Field Day and lunch. If
your child is not interested in any of the lunch offerings, they are welcome to bring their own
lunch from home.
5) Just a reminder that parents are invited to attend Closing Ceremonies next Monday (FYI - the
PreKers will be singing We Are The Class Of 2028 and will do so near the beginning of the
ceremony.) Once the ceremony has ended we will take a snack and bathroom break before
heading down to the big field at about 10:30 for Clark House field day. You are invited to watch
this event as well. Please remember to have your child wear their team color. If you are unsure of
whether they are on the blue or gold team, please ask. The children in Clark House do not
compete according to their team color during Field Day.
6) PLEASE be sure to return your child’s manila envelope to class after you get this newsletter. We
use them on the last day of school when we send home their folders, markers, etc.
7) Please return all TCS library books as soon as possible so the inventory process can be completed
before the end of the school year. Thank You.
8) Please refer back to the last newsletter for all additional information regarding the last few days
of school.
And finally, please send in a large, labeled reusable bag for your child to bring all their things home in.
